Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kupio ("the app", "we") collects, uses, and protects your information. The app is operated by BLIK SOLUTIONS. By using Kupio you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address, obtained when you sign in with Google. Used to create your account and your family group.
Shopping data — the items, lists, quantities, notes and family group you create in the app.
Receipt data — photos of receipts you choose to scan, and the items, prices and categories extracted from them.
Spending data — totals and category breakdowns derived from your receipts.
Purchase information — your Kupio Premium subscription status (handled by Google Play Billing).

We do not collect your advertising identifier, precise location, contacts, or browsing history. The app contains no advertising.

2. How we use your information

To provide the core features: a shared, real-time shopping list, receipt scanning and spending analytics.
To sync your data across your family members' devices.
To manage your account and your Premium subscription.

3. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the app. Your data may be processed by:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) — stores your account and app data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic (Claude) — when you scan a receipt, the receipt image is sent to Anthropic's API to read the items and prices. It is processed only to return the parsed result and is not used to train models.
Google Play Billing — processes Premium subscription purchases.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Data security & storage

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on Google's secure infrastructure. Access is restricted to your account and the members of your family group.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app. This permanently removes your data and cannot be undone.

6. Children

Kupio is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
